The F1 GP CHINA is on the calendar for APRIL 20th 2014. The real GP takes place on that date.

THG is gonna do a tryout.

FRIDAY APRIL 18th 2014 we will do a PRACTICE in F1 2013 on the track of China.

SUNDAY APRIL 20th 2014 the race is shown on TV.

THG will try out a online race on SUNDAY APRIL 20th 2014 or MONDAY APRIL 21th 2014.

Today we had the PRACTICE.

It was a good and fun practice.

Fastest laptimes around 1:38/1:39.

We decided to skip QUALIFYING on SATURDAY and RACE on SUNDAY.
So the lobby which is made on SUNDAY is 50%, 45 minutes.
The lobby will be set up with QUALIFYING on SUNDAY, 5 PM (GMT+1).

In future events we will do a PRACTICE on SATURDAY, and RACE on SUNDAY with QUALIFYING.

I would like to sign up for this  I've not played F1 for months. Can I go in Ferrari please?

I take it the start time is 4pm bst?

Well....there goes my chance for winning the Championship! Ofcourse your can enter this championship.

ALL DRIVERS MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE HOST IN THEIR FL

Also I ask all drivers to add eachother. If there is a race which I cannot host, someone else can host. Also you can invite eachother this way for maybe practice or other reasons.

RACE REPORT

WELL WELL WELL. I did see THG-SurfScoter do that once, and now THG-Rossi46 : "From Pole to P1".

6 people joining on a holiday at Eastern 2014. Wow! On time for the first ever THG F1 2013 event. That makes one guy very happy.

Q :
I did not remember where I qualified. I think P4.

R:
Like in real life races, there was a bit of excitement allready in the first corner, and I saw someone go off the track. P2 for me. Not the most bad start one can have.

I forgot (nervous? too much babbling into my mic?) to change the tyres I used in the Q so I had to go in the pit earlier than planned for my first tyrechange.

Was on P3 most of the time, P2 even for a while I think, and I did see P1 for one lap if I am not mistaken. A few laps before the end, on P3, I saw THG-Jan, our newest member come closer and closer.

He overtoke me (I did not dare to ram him off the track...hehe) and in the end it was a P4 for me. I was satiesfied with this result.

Teammate THG-thejodokus had his first race with a controller and he did a good job for the team, bringing the car home, scoring points. Also he was not in the way of anybody. Good job!

Again (for the 10th time now) I wish to thank everyboy for joining!

Wow what a start to the new THG F1 season.

I haven't played F1 2013 since around November time and not at all on my THG account. The plan was to get half an hours practice in before the off but i got the invite from Isaac near enough straight away once i sign in!

No practice or set up, or more importantly no wheel settings. I did it all on the fly just before Qualifying.

Unsure how it was gonna pan out I went with my usual tactic, try and see what my Prime tyre time was gonna be. I saw from the race director that Jake was also attempting to qualify on prime tyres too!
First run was ok, but i forgot to up the fuel to fast. And forgot all about KERS and DRS (been playing GT6 too much)

Anyway I just got pole from jake by around .2 sec. Then the race.

Got a good start and was just trying to keep the car ion the track and not make any mistakes. I lost the lead after the second stop to isaac, then had jake chasing me down near the end. But i just did enough to win!

I cant post up my race for 7 days Isaac but check out the race on my youtube channel. Its split into 4, for various reasons   But you'll find the qualifying results at the start of part 1 and the full race results at the end of part 4

If any ones thinking of getting a capture device dont get a hauppauge. There new editing software is pants!! Although the device itself is brilliant.
Go for an Elgato. Easier to use, no power adapter needed. Bit more expensive though
